Your February Tarot Horoscope

Your February Tarot Horoscope

We’ve officially made it all the way through January! We are currently in Aquarius season and will close out the month in Pisces. With that being said, February is a very cold month, so it’s important to switch things up from the mundane and channel more of your creative and affectionate energy. Emotional intelligence is a huge theme in February, and it’s important to speak carefully in tense situations. You have the ability to help so much more than just yourself, so understanding the impact you can make or the support you can offer others through simple conversation will prove to be worth it.

Early February

The Fool + The Star

The beginning of the month is represented by The Fool and The Star cards. These cards share the energy of freedom. Neither is shackled by responsibility, rules, or expectations. Their futures are uncertain, but they are fully enjoying the present moment. The first week of the month encourages mindfulness paired with unlimited imagination. Let your creativity run wild. Feel the freedom you have in your life and take advantage of spontaneous opportunities as they arise. Most of all, live without overcomplicating things.

The Fool

  • The Fool is all about fearless exploration and acting on a whim. You may feel ungrounded this week, and that’s okay. You might feel more spontaneous and put less thought into your actions and choices. The tarot advises you not to overthink right now, even if you tend to be indecisive. It says move now. Go now. Choose now. Remember that life is an adventure. If you always play it safe, you may stay in the same place and miss out on the fun. Treat every day as a brand-new beginning, not just another day. To work best with this energy, allow yourself more freedom. Don’t question yourself so much. Be open to new possibilities. Don’t be hard on yourself about the past. Focus on forward movement. Look toward the future with optimism rather than pessimism. This card also symbolizes new chapters. Maybe you’re just coming back to life after the holidays and New Year festivities. Expect a burst of inspiration and a strong desire to try new things.

The Star

  • The Star is the most inspirational card of all, in my opinion. This card follows The Tower. The figure on the card has nothing to her name, just a desire to restore her peace and make a difference in the lives of others. She understands that by taking care of herself, she can better care for others. With that in mind, choosing healing and self-care also allows you to help those around you. This card reminds you to fill your own cup before filling others’. It also reassures you that you don’t need to fear the worst right now. The worst has already passed. Now it’s time to recover. Prioritize your healing this week and take your time adjusting to what’s new. The energy this week aligns perfectly with slowing down and finding peace with the future. You are at the beginning of a new phase of life, lightweight and unburdened. Take advantage of this freedom and trust that catastrophe is not around the corner. It’s time to get comfortable with life again.

Mid-February

5, 6, and 7 of Swords

The middle of February is represented by the 5, 6, and 7 of Swords. These cards can feel intimidating at first because they symbolize conflict, healing, and personal intentions. While their messages aren’t always easy to digest, they offer clarity and show you how to best handle life’s situations.

5 of Swords

  • The 5 of Swords represents conflict, disagreements, or finally saying something bold. It opens the door to changing how you feel about someone or how they feel about you. This is about setting the record straight and speaking your truth, even if it ruffles feathers. Take a chance this week and communicate what’s on your mind, but be mindful of your delivery. This card may also indicate the need to clear the air. If you consider the other person’s perspective, the conversation can go smoothly. Some things simply need to be said, and this week supports that.

6 of Swords

  • The 6 of Swords is about healing and moving toward calmer waters. Maybe enough time has passed that things don’t hurt as much, or maybe you’ve been reflecting on the past. This week, try not to look back. Focus instead on what’s ahead and what’s going right. Know that your worst fears are unlikely to come true. It often feels worse in your head than it actually is. This card suggests you’ll have a strong understanding of other people’s perspectives, even if you don’t fully relate. Use this energy to cultivate deeper, more meaningful conversations and connections.

7 of Swords

  • The 7 of Swords is often seen as a sneaky card, but it’s more about intelligence, strategy, and wit. You may feel especially sharp or quick with your words this week. Tarot encourages you to use this energy by thinking things through more carefully than usual. Channel it into bigger concepts, especially when planning long-term goals or ambitions. You’re being asked to think outside the box. This card can also make you feel like others don’t think the way you do, so stay focused on your plans. If you feel impulsive, pause and think it through. You may also feel more private or move more quietly than others. Know that anything hidden will eventually be revealed.

Late February

King of Swords

  • The end of February gives you the opportunity to show what you know while feeling accomplished for what you’ve done. This energy brings recognition to your intellectual abilities and reveals how you truly show up in other people’s lives. The King of Swords is wise and offers excellent advice. His perspective comes from life experience and deep intellect. You’ll gain a clearer understanding of the world around you and why certain situations continue to arise. This energy provides balance through logic while positioning you as a positive role model. You know more than you think you do, and this week will prove it. Opportunities will arise for you to share your wisdom and demonstrate how far you’ve come. Be proud of yourself. Share your thoughts and perspective. Others are eager to hear them. You may be approached for guidance or support, and you’ll be able to help more than you realize. Trust yourself to make good decisions and use this energy to truly see yourself for who you are.
