January: Focus, Gratitude, and Accomplishment
Share
Happy New Year! This is the twelfth monthly blog post that I’ve published here and it makes me feel so proud about how much can get done when you apply yourself to a schedule, especially with projects. Consistency truly adds up. I’m sending blessings to you and your loved ones with the best of energy to start your year off with!
This month’s energy is all about releasing what’s not good for you, seeing your environment for what it is and appreciating it, blessed starts, getting back on track, and being proud of what you have done for yourself.
Beginning of January:

The Devil + The World
The start of the month is represented by the energy of The Devil and The World cards. These cards can be opposites sometimes. One being about what needs to be released – the other about what one wants to obtain. There’s a balance between the two… what you are willing to give up in exchange for what you truly desire. The hard work to release what feels good but isn’t so good for you, in order to grow into the person that you want to be. The person that you aim to be. The version of you who doesn’t find this task to be difficult, but is nevertheless proud of you for doing it.

The Devil
The Devil card is all about temptation. Where you are weighed down but not necessarily trapped. This card tends to invite you to indulge in what feels good but isn’t holding you hostage. It’s your choice to participate. With that being said, sometimes we indulge in these ways when we feel uncomfortable with ourselves. This week, you might feel more of a pull towards temptation – however you’ll be self aware of it. So be mindful when indulging this week. Watch for ways that you can start to unchain yourself. This card says not to be harsh on yourself but to make an effort to break free. This card’s energy also tells you that there are no wrong desires. You feel it for a reason. However, you have the option to limit yourself or to slow down.
Where are you staying in your comfort zone in unhealthy ways?

The World
The World is the final card in the major arcana! It’s the final card because it represents your ultimate fulfillment. The creation of the world that you have always dreamed of. In some ways it represents your higher self and the version of you that you have always been on the journey of becoming. Where you were always destined to be. In a way this card holds a lot of weight because it sandwiches all the hard experiences of life in between the successes and happy moments. It’s okay to sometimes get sad about what you’ve been through when you think about how you got here today. Accept that those struggles were part of the journey and while you cannot control whether or not it happened, you survived and you are ok here now. This week make peace with what’s done and what is undone. Most of all, celebrate the life you live now! There are aspects of your life today that you once dreamed of so find gratitude in those small details as much as you can this week. Don’t be so focused on the legacy that you want, rather be happy for what you have already done.
Can you find appreciation for what you have done and the life you have created for yourself?

Mid-January:

Ace, 2, 3, and 4 of Pentacles
By the time you reach the middle of the month, you’ll feel a gush of inspiration come. One that will make you feel inspired and hopeful – like you just can’t wait to see the result. Your energy this week is blessed when it comes to new starts, suggestions, and personal discipline. This energy won’t last long so use the momentum to get started now. You’ll want to see the results immediately and it’s really important that you remember good things take time and that this is just the beginning.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ace of Pentacles
The Ace of Pentacles is often the start of new solid opportunities! Sometimes it comes from your own imagination – sometimes it’s given to you from somebody trustworthy. This card symbolizes trust in what you are doing. The feeling of faith when you commit to consistency with something and knowing that it will pay off someday. This week you might feel the push to start something new and you should go for it! This project is blessed and if you are willing to see it through, you will be heavily rewarded. Be serious in what you are doing, but be excited for what it can become. Now is the time to be optimistic but to also be patient.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

2 Of Pentacles
The 2 of Pentacles is a juggling act where you find out what comes easy and what needs more attention. This card shows you how much capacity you have and what is truly a priority. If you want this project/opportunity/experience to pay off, make compromises. It’s your decision how much you pour into this. It might feel like you don’t have time for this, or you are expecting unforeseen circumstances. Ultimately it will be your decision on how you approach this. Show yourself what is really deserving of your time, energy, emotions, etc.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

3 of Pentacles
The 3 of Pentacles is about collaboration with others but also being willing to try something in a different way that you typically do. For example, you might be exposed to different approaches this week. You can really benefit from trying things the way other people do or suggest this week. There’s a strong energy of support coming from those around you so utilize help when you can. The people around you want to see you grow and are willing to support you in getting there. Let them help. Be open to new points of view. There will be many opportunities for you to learn this week. Be open to growth, not resistant.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
4 Of Pentacles
The 4 of Pentacles if oftentimes when you start seeing results and get afraid to let things go. This card tells you to plan carefully ahead but not to be restrictive as more fruits of your labor are coming. This card is when you start reaching stability but lack the confidence in it in order to take a step back and relax. Know that you cannot run on fumes and will need to find ways to be less tense. Trust that more of these results are coming and you don’t need to hold on so tightly. What are areas that you are holding too much stress over and can instead plan in a different way?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
End of January:

Queen of Pentacles
The Queen of Pentacles is quite the card of achievement! It represents the feeling of how much you have done for yourself but also the warmth and care to help others. Particularly being the example of what other people want to achieve. You should feel good about yourself this week and how you show up in other people’s lives. Notice how much you are willing to help others achieve their goals and ways that you have been generous with your energy. You might notice more indications of what is working and what’s not in your life this week. Trust yourself to know what is best for you. But also celebrate yourself for how much you have invested in your own growth and healing! People look up to you and it’s time that you realized that. This week, you might see more examples of how people need your help. Be open to involving yourself in the journeys of others! But also remember to fill your own cup before you fill the cups of others. This week is about feeling proud of yourself and continuing the actions that bring you the best results.
